The Parable of the Prodigal Son

When the religious leaders accuse Jesus of violating their traditions by welcoming sinners, he responds with three stories: the lost sheep, the lost coin, and the lost son. Today’s Gospel lesson of the Parable of the Prodigal Son is one of Jesus’ most beloved and moving stories.

Single Pack BackSnack Packing on April 3

BackSnack Packing is happening on March 27 with a Single Pack. We pick up the boxes at the Resource Center down the street at 1:30 pm, and pack at 5 pm. Thanks to all our faithful packers and deliverers.
All-Parish Clean-up Day Saturday, April 13
We are sprucing up the parish building and grounds on Saturday, April 3, in anticipation of our guests and newcomers on Easter Sunday, and we need your time and talents. See Jr. Warden Don Hutchinson.
Johnson County Food Ministry - Center of Grace
-Community Meal Thursday March 28-
Next Meal is April 25

Please pitch in and help serve the Community Meal at the Center of Grace, 520 S Harrison, Olathe, this Thursday, March 28. Cooks at 1 pm, servers at 5 pm, and clean-up crew at 6 pm. And be sure to bring those desserts to the church by noon on Thursday!!

The KS DOK Spring Assembly, Pour Out Upon Us the Seven Fold Gifts of the Holy Spirit, is Saturday, April 6 at 9 am at St. David's Episcopal Church, Topeka.

If you do not have access to a form, you may send your check for $15, please include a note with your contact information - your email address, phone number, DOK Chapter, DOK Chapter Parish, and Chapter City & State, to St. David's Episcopal Church, ATTN: Daughters of the King, 3916 SW 17th Street, Topeka, KS 66604.

As a parish we look to the future of the Church and give the gift of Summer Episcopal MegaCamp to our campers by raising the money to cover all of their costs – please give generously to our young people!
When: Sunday, June 2, 2:30 pm to Saturday, June 8, 11 am, 2019

Where: Camp Wood YMCA, Elmdale, KS

Who: Students in grades 3-12 for 2017-18 school year (you must have finished third grade to attend); Camp is NOT restricted to Episcopalians or regular churchgoers. All are welcome, so feel free to invite friends and family.
