Fr. Tom's Talk
Here we are, over one year after in our pandemic pilgrimage. Thank you for continuing to say your prayers, coming to services, and being the loving people of God that you were made to be. It is our call from Christ to shine God’s light for one another and to nourish that light in our prayers, individually and together. Thank you for faithfully doing so, in person and online.
As we move into the summer, let’s keep our eyes trained NOT on moving back to “how things were,” but looking forward to the future God is leading us into. We will have new adventures, find new ways of blessing our community and continue to be challenged and changed by God’s transforming grace and radical love. I’m looking forward to the summer months ahead knowing God will guide and bless our journey.
Please let me know if you’d like to sit down and talk or enjoy a coffee, at a social distance of course, or feel free to call meat 785-670-0158, or email me at firstname.lastname@example.org.My office hours are Monday - Thursday 10 am - 3 pm. … Fr. Tom
The woman had heard about Jesus and came up behind him in the crowd and touched his cloak, for she said, " If I just touch his clothes, I will be made well." Mark 5:27-28
Jesus has empowered his followers with a wonderful ability to make people well. By acts of kindness, generosity, thoughtfulness, inclusion and acceptance, we can make a small (or large) impact on people's lives.
