BackSnack Delivery Starts This Wednesday, October 5
Hey Back Snack Volunteers:

I’ve finally heard from Harvesters about their delivery schedule and met with College Church about storage and logistics of picking up the food boxes. Attached is our contact list and proposed loading and delivery schedule for St. Aidan’s based on the school district calendar. We start October 5 with a double pack. We will continue to load our boxes about 2:00 p.m. on Wednesdays, with deliveries to your schools either Wednesday afternoon or Thursday morning, depending on you and your school’s preference.

FYI. There are a few changes for this year. David Kahn is stepping away from the program after years of dedicated service, but may still help us on double pack days. Kurt Gordon and Karon Wintrode have agreed to be backup drivers as needed. Westview has a new school contact following a retirement, and Rolling Ridge has a new contact while Jessica Click is out on maternity leave. Finally, Fairview school is dropping out of the Harvesters program and initiating a stand alone food program for their school. So unless something changes, we will deliver to four schools this year instead of 5.

Thanks again for all your help as we begin what I think is our 15th year! Let me know if you have any questions or need anything from me.
