Joint Annual Thanksgiving Dinner St. Aidan's Episcopal Church and St. Mark's Lutheran Church, Sunday, November 20 at 5:00 pm

Sunday, November 20 at 5 pm, St. Aidan's will join St. Mark's Lutheran Church for Worship and Dinner at St. Mark's. Dinner is at 6 pm.

St. Mark's will provide the Turkey, gravy and mashed potatoes. Everyone is encouraged to bring a Thanksgiving side.

Thanksgiving in Action Results!

This year, Don and I dropped off 34 boxes of food to the First Christian Church for their Thanksgiving in Action program. Thanks to all who either provided food or donated money to help feed the hungry in Olathe. That total was beyond the goal. Congratulations and thanks again to everyone.

Stewardship Pledge Drive 2023

Pledge Cards are due on Sunday, November 20!

This year the theme of our Stewardship Pledge Drive is 'New Wine'. "New wine must be put into new wineskins." Luke 5:38

Now that our New Wine bottle is on display its time for us to fill it up. In the coming weeks, as pledges come in, you’ll be able to see our progress through the “Wine-O-Meter.” Our goal is $155,000 and with your help, we can reach it!

From Sunday, November 6 through the 30th we will draw out one pledge card each week and the winner will receive a bottle of wine. You must get your pledge in by, or before, November 20 to win.

November: Table of Remembrance!

In November we will remember those who have gone before us with a “Table of Remembrance” that will be in the Narthex of the church.

All are welcome to bring a picture or memento of a deceased love one to place on the table. The table will remain up throughout the month of November.

Angel Tree Is Coming To St Aidan's Again This Year!

The Daughters of the King are planning to assist St Aidan's with Angel Tree Prison Fellowship and purchasing gifts for children of incarcerated parents. We plan to have "Angels" for you to choose a gift as soon as we receive the list of families participating in this program. We hope this will be before Thanksgiving! Thanks to all who have helped in past years - we so appreciate your participation in this very worthy ministry.

BackSnack Program

2022-2023

St. Aidan’s is partnering again with Harvesters in the Backsnack program. This year we will be partnering with four Olathe Elementary Schools.

The next Pack (Single Pack) is to be picked up on November 30, and delivered on December 1.

Johnson County Food Ministry at Center of Grace

St. Aidan's helps prepare and hand out meals at Center of Grace in Olathe, on the fourth Thursday of the month. Dinner prep is at 3:00 pm and at 5:00 pm we distribute food at Center of Grace.

No outreach at Center of Grace on November 25th.

*** Also, we need your help by bringing individually wrapped desserts for the Center of Grace to St. Aidan's by 1 pm on that Thursday.
