BackSnack Program

2022-2023

St. Aidan’s is partnering again with Harvesters in the Backsnack program. This year we will be partnering with four Olathe Elementary Schools.

The Pack are to be picked up on Wednesdays, and delivered on Thursdays.

Johnson County Food Ministry at Center of Grace

St. Aidan's helps prepare and hand out meals at Center of Grace in Olathe, on the fourth Thursday of the month. Dinner prep is at 3:00 pm and at 5:30 pm we distribute food at Center of Grace.

Next Outreach at Center of Grace is on April 24.

*** Also, we need your help by bringing individually wrapped desserts for the Center of Grace to St. Aidan's by noon on that Thursday.

Lent Quiet Day: The Courage to Forgive

Forgiveness is often thought of as a transaction, a failure that needs God’s mercy. This Quiet Day will nurture the truth that forgiveness is like a river or ocean that we must float in our whole lives, carrying us through all the heartbreak and challenges of being alive. St Michael and All Angels Mission Kansas will host our time together with a spacious start at 9 am with coffee and check-in. Beginning at 9:30 am, Canon Lisa Senuta will guide you through times of spiritual learning, personal reflection, and small group sharing. Expect music, poetry, and guided prayer times to nurture an interior invitation to give and receive forgiveness.

Canon Senuta is a trained spiritual director and retreat leader who uses creative prayer practices to nurture a sense of God’s presence.
