“Come Celebrate St. Aidan's Feast Day with us August 28!"

We are celebrating the Feast Day of St. Aidan’s on Sunday, August 28! Special music will be provided by guitarist, Mr Chad Senuta. After the morning worship service, we will continue our celebration with our Coffee Hour and delicious refreshments!

St. Aidan of Lindisfarne was the founder and first bishop of the monastery on the island of Lindisfarne off the northeast coast of England. A Christian missionary, he is credited with restoring Christianity to Northumbria (Northern England). His feast day is August 31.

Adult Forum Begins Sunday, September 11

Episcopal Cursillo 2-Day Weekend Sept. 23-25

The Heartland Episcopal Cursillo of the Dioceses of West Missouri and Kansas, including the Metropolitan Kansas City area, is pleased to present an Episcopal Cursillo Two-Day Weekend on September 23‐25, 2022. The weekend will take place at the Heartland Retreat Center in Parkville Missouri, in north-western KC metro area.

BackSnack Program

2022-2023

St. Aidan’s will partner again with Harvesters in the Backsnack program. A specific start date has not been determined, but our deliveries to 5 Olathe elementary schools are expected to begin in September.

Johnson County Food Ministry at Center of Grace

St. Aidan's helps prepare and hand out meals at Center of Grace in Olathe, on the fourth Thursday of the month. Dinner prep is at 3:00 pm and at 5:00 pm we distribute food at Center of Grace. September 22 is our next dinner service.

*** Also, we need your help by bringing individually wrapped desserts for the Center of Grace to St. Aidan's by 1 pm on that Thursday.
