We might want to remember what a brave man Jesus was. Stewards strive for bravery too, not necessarily to the extent of risking their lives, but sometimes in embracing people and ministries that may be out of the mainstream.
God's Promise and Abram's Trust: Reckoned as Righteousness
Abram was on the run from troubles when God appeared and made God’s first covenant with Abram, promising that his descendants would be as numerous as the stars. Scripture says that “Abram believed the Lord, and the Lord reckoned it to him as righteousness.”

As many in the Christian faith begin to observe Lent, the Reclaiming Jesus elders are renewing their call to Christians to remain steadfast in their faith and engage with the deepening challenges our nation faces.

The next community meal is this Thursday, February 28. We welcome volunteers to join us for this monthly event. It is always a privilege and a joy to serve others in this very important ministry.

The Right Reverend Cathleen Chittenden Bascom
The Right Reverend Bascom was ordained the Tenth Bishop of the Diocese of Kansas on March 2 at Grace Cathedral in Topeka. She will be visiting the Northeast Convocation from May 14 through May 24.
