Advent Lessons and Music

On the first Sunday of Advent, we gather to hear again the message from Holy Scriptures that tell the story of the purposes of God from the first of creation to the coming of God's Holy Child; and to remember God's story and our human story as we prepare our hearts for the Holy season of waiting in Advent. The candle light service of seven lessons and music is a quiet and peaceful break from the hectic pace culture sets for the season.

• Serve regularly in the programs of this church and in the areas of Christian responsibility outside of this church.
• Dedicate a tithe of income to the work of the Kingdom of God.
